My trip to China was amazing. My now husband and I went there for a month long trip to visit his sister and niece in Hangzhou. We flew in to Shanghai and even after a 45 minute drive towards the bus station, we never left the city! It is such a big yet beautiful city. I wished we could have spent more time exploring.
My first time on a bullet train was a delight. It was so smooth compared to the American trains. Saw so many interesting things. After we arrived in Hangzhou, we visited Tiger Springs, a tea farm, a temple, and some other wonderful places before taking a flight to the Yunan district on the opposite side of China. We visited a place called Old Town and it was what it was named after. Cobble roads. old buildings, it was interesting. We visited Jade Dragon Mountain where you went somewhere to rent coats and buy oxygen cans. We met so many people on our trip upwards.
my favorite part though was the food. The pineapple was so sweet and juicy and you could get dumplings and bao EVERYWHERE. It was INCREDIBLE. I loved visiting and hope to visit again some day.
